Oh right this is Calamity Angels, which is believe is out today on PS4/Switch, but this was the PC demo. That version doesn't have a release date yet but I'll wait for it there. I had a lovely time with it!

I feel like character creators do somewhat lose the plot when they try to maximise "options" in abstract over what actually makes a character creator interesting. you can do a lot of writing before the game even begins just by telling someone what kinds of person they can be, intentionally

Given how intense the queer-coding of villainous characters has been in certain eras of media, it kind of makes me wonder whether the "one of them is short and fat and inarticulate and the other is tall and thin and uses big words incorrectly" thing was ever an MLM stereotype any point.
