Fantastic analysis here by Bill, grounded and full of insights, so we can take our own conclusions on the trade.

This is the type of content we need everywhere, not some clickbait-y, shallow things we see sometimes.
New (free) column: Trying to make sense of the Micah Parsons trade, including why the Cowboys story doesn't add up, how Parsons is now the (implied) highest-paid player in football, and what it means for both teams www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/...
Barnwell: The NFL-altering Micah Parsons trade, and what comes next for the Cowboys and Packers
What are the Cowboys doing? Did they get enough in return? And does Parsons put the Packers at the top of the NFC? Let's sort through this wild trade.

Pretty excited by the Parsons addition to my Packers, it is indeed a big oomph to this team and one that puts us as true contenders (I already had this expectation before, though).

Will enjoy the moment, but I'm already trying to understand how the upcoming years will be. Talent will bleed...

Man, I'm so proud to be involved in the #SFB15 and somehow gather this community together.

Fantasy is where I found "my people" and it's so cool to be closer to all things NFL. I loved hosting the first São Paulo Live Draft last year and super pumped for the one in 2025, even if I'm not there.

It's on, again!

So proud to be a part of this community, to join #SFB15 and to have been able to host the first ever São Paulo Live Draft last year.

It's an honor to be invited, thanks @fantasycaresorg.bsky.social, @scottfish.bsky.social, @johnbosch.bsky.social and everyone else involved.

LFG!

We haven’t had an actual coach since Dunga was kicked out of the position after 2010.

Everyone after him was bad. Coaching a national squad is a very unique task, something that very few (maybe none, at the moment, in Brazil) can do.

I do not see brighter days.
Dorival Junior has been sacked as Brazil’s head coach after 14 months in charge.

The 62-year-old’s departure comes three days after Brazil were defeated 4-1 by Argentina in a World Cup qualifier.

Malik Nabers (and Wan’Dale Robinson) to the moon!
JUST IN: QB Jameis Winston is signing with the New York Giants, a source tells @diannarussini.bsky.social.

I really like that the Bengals are trying to keep Burrow, Chase and Higgins, but how is that tantamount to a Super Bowl?

Feels like this team is putting all of its chips into a monster offense (well, kinda, because of the OL) but leaving too many failure options around.

My predictions for the upcoming free agency:

Higgins to the Patriots
Metcalf to the Bills
Hendrickson to the Packers
Godwin to the Patriots
Bosa (the original) to the 49ers
Fields to the Raiders

Let's see how many I will get right on this very surprising day!

CAN'T WAIT TO SEE WHAT THE 2025 NFL FREE AGENCY IS GOING TO BE.

Today is the day, guys!
March 12, 2025 at 10:14 AM
Why is anyone surprised?

Saints will always do Saints’ things.

It’s what they do. It’s how we know them.
Schultz: Juwan Johnson to re-sign with the Saints on a 3-year, $30M deal.

One year ago, Barkley signed with the Eagles and became instrumental to their Super Bowl win.

Who would be this year’s difference maker? Is there such a player this season?

I’m not sure there is.
March 11, 2025 at 7:33 PM
The more things settle, the more I feel that Godwin's contract might be the best during this free agency period.

It's clearly a win-win situation.

DO. NOT. GO. BACK.
March 10, 2025 at 5:21 PM
This is true and I'd guess that it's going to be Ben Jonhson's main focus: increase/enhance Caleb's spatial awareness.

Yes, the Bears OL was bad, but Caleb was also bad at dealing with pressures and sacks. Unless his OL becomes a top 3 unit (doesn't seem like it), he'll keep suffering.
Another thought about the Bears signing Drew Dalman to go with trading for Thuney and Jackson.

A better offensive line is good!

But sacks are still heavily a QB stat and Caleb Williams is responsible for the clock in his own head.

Best show on Earth (NFL-wise)?

Best show on Earth (NFL-wise).
Here we go!

@qbklass.bsky.social and I are getting started with a 5+ hour livestream to celebrate the kickoff of free agency.

We're getting started at 11:30 am ET to hit all the news, before welcoming a bunch of friends to run through today's signings.

The famous "Christian Kirk treatment".

I'd put a bet on a linebacker. Short supply, high demand.
Who is going to get the most unexpected bag this FA period?

Since we have (another) migration coming, here's a quick starter pack to help you get connected to most of the NFL people around here, Fantasy and all:

Can someone explain why do we have these two "legal tampering days" for the free agency, if we all are going to know who's going where anyways?

It's not even a drama-building situation. It's just silly. Get rid of it, NFL.
March 10, 2025 at 2:22 PM
The regular season of the NFL is about winning.

The playoffs of the NFL are about not losing.

Wins whomever makes the least mistakes.

Not sure I agree.

He has nothing to regret, he just signed a very good contract with a team that has a potential franchise QB, young and good players and a tendency to trend upwards.

The Bears have been on a loop of failures, that's true, but that can change in a second.
Ben Johnson has to regret not taking the Washington job when he had the chance.

Clean setup with new GM. New ownership that doesn't have a long track record of incompetence. And a QB who has already shown he's a superstar.

Tough scene.

Good discussion I had with some people, but let's see if I can get some more POVs over here:

How much of the Eagles' success would you put on Sirianni and what would be the evidences that would justify it?

He seems to be somewhat both underrated and overrated, depending on where you look...
January 21, 2025 at 2:30 PM
This Lions loss is a reminder of how hard and somewhat unpredictable the NFL is.

Everybody’s favorite on the NFC side, best team this season for some, but still an ending “too soon”.

Cautionary tale for Packers’ fans who are looking at 2025 as “the year”.
January 19, 2025 at 7:33 PM
A bit overdue, but I have to leave it marked that 2024 was my best NFL year, by far.

First and foremost, being able to start a podcast with someone who I respect a lot (@joaomauriciofa.bsky.social) and engage with so many cool people who actively listen to us.

I am beyond thankful for all of you.
