I also saw B:MotP in theaters, but my claim to fame is seeing Ravenous & my roommate & I being the only people in the theater. It lasted a single week.

I also had a couple of friends see a test screening of Gore Verbinski's The Mexican who claimed the final release was completely different.
Have asked this before and always like the responses. What are your biggest “I saw that in the first run cinema” flexes? Couple of mine:

Transformers: The Movie (1986)
Batman: Mask of the Phantasm (1993)
Office Space (1999)

I remember seeing Bubba Ho-Tep and Attack the Block in surprisingly packed stadium style theaters. I don't remember what they were each up against, but they probably could've made a lot of money if they kept them going.

It's a side plot for one of the two leads so far.

There MIGHT be lesbian twist on the latest episode of Ponies I watched, if you have access to that.

No offense to Mike Newell, but Alfonso Cuarón is far and away the best filmmaker to direct one of them. There's just no comparing his work to someone like Chris Columbus or David Yates.

HAPPENING NOW: A massive crowd of hundreds of rabbis, cantors, and other Jews have gathered outside ICE headquarters in DC for the largest ever Jewish protest against ICE’s violence and crimes. #jewsagainstICE

I used to be kinda proud that one of my 20 year old reviews of Avatar the Last Airbender was quoted on wikipedia, but today I found out that a much more recent review of mine (with a working link) is quoted on the Messiah of Evil wiki! Twice!

Not hearing much about Ponies. It's a good time. Recommended. Are people not into '70s spy shit? I remember no one talking about The Sympathizer either and that show was fantastic. Also recommended.

So I remembered that Messiah of Evil had nearly been lost for a time. Prompting me to look it up to verify and discover that I'm quoted on the wikipedia page! So thank you!

At the time I actually found it kind of charming. I just didn't like the movies very much. I tried saying I kinda liked the 5th one and he got even more upset, because apparently that one was least like the book.

My funniest HP story is that years ago (before the revelations) I was at a restaurant with friends at like midnight and the movies came up. I said "I only really liked the 3rd one." and some guy from a different table that I didn't know came over to explain why I was wrong.

You add home video sales and it's gotta be Purple Rain, right? Mighty Ducks was a pretty big hit too.

I dunno, Inside Out only has flashbacks to Minnesota, right? It's really a California movie to me.

It's probably actually Dario Argento's smash hit Trauma.

Heartbreaking to drive around St. Paul and see parents in high visibility vest patrolling the perimeter of elementary schools to ensure that children won't be kidnapped by ICE.

You know you're old when most of the songs at the Drs office are on your iPod. Also, you still use an iPod.

I just got in. They don't know what's wrong with me. Gonna contact my regular doctor in the morning.

I think the Timberwolves should win this game for me, watching from the ER. It would make the time more enjoyable.

It is, thankfully, way more chill than the pitt here.

Hanging out in the ER for the first time in I think 6 years? It hasn't gotten more fun here in that time.

Olympic freestyle skiing competitions are a great place to get lyrics for your Beck song.
