HAPPENING NOW: A massive crowd of hundreds of rabbis, cantors, and other Jews have gathered outside ICE headquarters in DC for the largest ever Jewish protest against ICE’s violence and crimes. #jewsagainstICE

I used to be kinda proud that one of my 20 year old reviews of Avatar the Last Airbender was quoted on wikipedia, but today I found out that a much more recent review of mine (with a working link) is quoted on the Messiah of Evil wiki! Twice!

Not hearing much about Ponies. It's a good time. Recommended. Are people not into '70s spy shit? I remember no one talking about The Sympathizer either and that show was fantastic. Also recommended.

My funniest HP story is that years ago (before the revelations) I was at a restaurant with friends at like midnight and the movies came up. I said "I only really liked the 3rd one." and some guy from a different table that I didn't know came over to explain why I was wrong.

Heartbreaking to drive around St. Paul and see parents in high visibility vest patrolling the perimeter of elementary schools to ensure that children won't be kidnapped by ICE.

You know you're old when most of the songs at the Drs office are on your iPod. Also, you still use an iPod.

I think the Timberwolves should win this game for me, watching from the ER. It would make the time more enjoyable.

Hanging out in the ER for the first time in I think 6 years? It hasn't gotten more fun here in that time.

If I eat three Jamaican beef patties in one day will I die? Will I become more beef patty than man? I guess we'll find out soon enough.

I'm a slightly above average artist/writer/musician & spent my entire life developing these skills. When I see genAI users whining about "talent gatekeeping" I imagine myself, a horrible basketball player, wanting a computer to play basketball for me & still getting the credit for training.

Kid, if you're excited about ONE super-duper gold snake, you're gonna LOVE this King Ghidorah fellow, who is basically THREE super-duper gold snakes!
From @acyn.bsky.social (posted on X)

"Reporter: Do any of you have a favorite animal?

Child: My favorite one is a gold snake that can move. It has gold eyes, and it has a super-duper tail…

Reporter: Mr. Mamdani, the second question for you.

Mamdani: Yes. It’s also the golden snake."

‘One officer told me that I "had no chance of returning to Minnesota" and that "the best thing for (me] is self-deportation." …
She offered me $2600 to self-deport.
I refused.
I wanted to talk to my attorney.
They didn't tell me the judge had already ordered my release and return to Minnesota.’

Did Sunkist sponsor a lot of Hong Kong action movies in the '80s/'90s? Their boxes are scattered around these movies like J&B bottles in a giallo.

I’m on the scene at Franklin and 1st. A convoy of about a couple dozen ICE/HSI agents broke the entryway into an apartment building at 6am. No warrant presented. Less than 24 hours ago, Tom Homan announced the end of large convoys in Minnesota… Bullshit.

Was talking to a random nice older woman from East Isles last night and ICE came up. She then detailed, totally free of irony, her plan for reforming US government, which included the simultaneous mass execution of every leading member of the Trump administration, many of whom were mentioned by name
