Possibly the main reason why the people ignoring Trump's depravity are as dangerous as the ones excusing or actively supporting is that he wil clearly start a war to avoid scrutiny of anything from ICE to Epstein if he thinks he will get away with it.

So while it used to be just mean tweets, now we see real and escalating abuses of power.

I mean, that's part of why they're doing it. Much of what they do is as much about keeping "their people" onside as anything else. They know that if they lose even a small fraction of Trump voters, like just 5-10% of them, it's over for the GOP. And with the ICE violence breaking through...
