🔬 Last Saturday’s Young Onset Parkinson’s Disease conference brought together 40+ participants, including a research session led by Dr Niamh Connolly. Through EU-funded 4DPD-Omics and #AIPD, her work combines spatial multi-omics, PPI and AI to support earlier, targeted Parkinson’s care.

🌟 At our recent FutureNeuro Research Day, we presented EPE/PPI Awards to Laura Whelan, Ifeolutembi Fashina, and Jake Kennedy. Laura and Tembi were recognised for embedding meaningful PPI in national genomics projects, and Jake for his outstanding engagement and outreach.

🔬 New FutureNeuro research compared three cell lines commonly used in brain research to identify which best reflects the microRNA patterns of brain tissue. The findings provide helpful guidance for selecting suitable lines for brain research. Read more: futureneurocentre.ie/publications...
