RSV vaccine is safe and effective. Please encourage anyone who is eligible- pregnant women from 28 weeks and people aged 75-79.
My parents paid for the vaccine last year- we are very glad they did.

Great editorial here in @addictionjournal.bsky.social from Shane Darke et al. arguing that the use of 'deaths of despair' to refer to deaths from alcohol, illicit drugs and suicide should be retired because the data doesn't support it and it's potentially actively unhelpful.
