He's right, and it's not just Brazil.

Around the world, at least 31 democratic leaders who committed similar crimes have been jailed or banned from office since 2010. The failure to hold Trump accountable in the US was a unique and systemic failure of our institutions and political culture.

As we hear the right wing lash out about violence from the left (even if its untrue), right wingers continue to share their true thoughts, and it’s wildly disturbing.

Congress passed a bipartisan law long ago mandating that a plaque honoring the officers who defended Capitol on J6 be displayed in the building. Mike Johnson has ignored that law and refuses to do it.

Laura Loomer is the one who criticized Charlie Kirk recently and said he "stabbed" Trump in the back. She is very influential and has the ear of Trump and Rubio. Could it be one of her followers took her too literally?

Will MAGA and Republicans and corporate media ask her to apologize and reflect?

Deeply disturbing rhetoric is spreading from influential MAGA figures (including the President of the United States and the owner of that other website). They have no idea who the shooter is, and many of these same people mocked Democrats when they were victims of political violence in the past. 1/

Truly disgusting statement by Trump from the Oval Office just now.

I continue to oppose political violence—the fact that the current President of the United States is one of the preeminent inciters of political violence in American history notwithstanding.

So another shooting in Utah. I want to make a few things perfectly clear.

1. The Utah GOP made today's shooting possible, allowing for open carry on campus. That law went into effect in March.

2. We frequently deal with armed men with guns that show up to our rally's. It is a way of life here.
