I saw a very disturbing post on Reddit yesterday which I just have trouble believing. Does anyone else know or have evidence that ICE is torturing male detainees by intentionally rupturing their scrotums? I mean, that's pretty advanced level monstrous evil for any American if it's happening...

All this merited talk about how the US actions in Venezuela are a violation of international law aside, I think the US has taken a massive risk here.
It has gone from flexing naval power blowing up small boats to assuming the invulnerability of said forces in a larger conflict in the drone age.

Hitting hour 15 in the emerg at Ottawa General. Wife's here because of sudden crippling gut pain. 3 more hours till a CT scan. Chatting with the nurse and she let slip the waits so long because 3 doctor positions got taken out of emerg rotation.

Autism, except possibly the most pronounced forms, is a behavioral and neurological adaptation to a rural, isolated lifestyle, which most of the world practiced up until 120 years ago.
