i don't know how you could watch a video of minnesotans strugging to protect their neighbours and entertain an idea like "I hope americans are ready to be hated". If you can't see yourself in their fight, draw strength from it, stand in solidarity, how can you possibly fight fascism anywhere else

The thing about shonen is that it can actually be really good, but I tend to forget that because the most popular stuff just exhausts me

I think people underestimate how big this is. Like a city-wide strike is not something that has happened in the US for nearly 100 years
there are a bunch of big names on this list, including multiple beard award winners, and some places i never would have guessed in a hundred years (the malt shop?!) and i'm genuinely floored and delighted to see so many participants

I think people underestimate how big this is. Like a city-wide strike is not something that has happened in the US for nearly 100 years
I don’t really local-post on here much, but it also feels weird to stay silent while my city is occupied by fascist goons. It’s at bad as everyone says, but at I’m also so incredibly proud of my neighbors. No one will save us but ourselves. Stay strong and stay safe everyone
