I've been doing some Unreal development at home and deployed a Perforce server in Docker so I can use all its tools. You know, it's a little annoying, and I prefer Git, but it wasn't too bad to set up #gamedev

John Varley's short fiction collection "The Barbie Murders" was a big influence on me. It came out in 1980, when I was still in high school, when I was first really trying to write.
So sorry to hear that John Varley (Herb to his friends) has left us.
His work was formative for me, and I still think "The Manhattan Phone Book (Abridged) is one of the most chilling short stories ever written.
