I really enjoyed it. I respect that the filmmakers committed to the absurdity of the last film's final scene. The antagonists were actually pretty threatening despite their goofy appearance and behavior. And I loved the KelsonxSamson yaoi.

I've been thinking of how I would rewrite Netflix's Devil May Cry.
Because while I did enjoy it, I think there would be way less polarizing "discussion" about the show if they stuck a bit closer to the game's story.
Also nix the sci-fi stuff. Gimme my supernatural gothic themes pls.
