TIL that because discord does not embed HEIC images any GPS data inside of them does not get stripped out of the metadata, because iphones from what i read by default both have location data on and use HEIC by default, if u ever see someone post an HEIC file they probably just doxxed themselves

I attended so many cons when I was young by getting an artist alley spot on short notice for cheap (or sometimes free!) and doing simple commisions and on the spot art. Now it's just dealer's room jr. with less dropshipping
its a bit of a relief to see other artists feel the same about how US artist alley has become more ""hustle culture"" with a focus on making marketable goods with ok enough art, and less ""check out this mental illness"" with 200 doujinshi pages of the best sucking and fucking you can ever imagine
