I guess it’s really time to put up or shut up Marj…you should show the same condemnation to Trump as you did Biden for SOTU address. Stand up, make comments, be the spectacle you know you can be. Bring along Nancy and Lauren for the full effect. Or better yet, bring the Epstein survivors as guests.

After a full season of HS mtb racing where my kid finished top 30 in our region and then top 75 in states, I have began the purge of the basement bike shop. Gonna be a big drop off at our local community shop. Frames, wheels, tires, kids bike, forks, rims. Time to move on from 80s/90s stuff…

#BravesBaseball wins again. On a 3 game win streak now. Back to .500 and 2nd place overall. Proud of the boys for fighting over the past week. My kid is in a slump big time though. He couldn’t fall out of a boat in the ocean and hit water right now. More cage time since school is out…

My youngest doing everything he can for his team. Now he’s catching. He hasn’t caught a game in 7 years. Just today he’s pitched, played 1st, caught, lead the team in hits and stolen bases. #HesAnAthlete

And we’re done…suspension is in the park but will have to bracket it next week when we have time. HS mtb training will start in June for Aug races. Those pedals are for test rides since he won’t ride clipless.

A MILESTONE has been achieved. My oldest is graduating today. I graduated at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in 1988 and he will walk across the same stage. He’s already played here 3 times with the HS band for graduations past. So proud of him and what he’s grown into. #ProudFMVCParents

I already hate this new SRAM Dub BB setup. Didn’t come with the correct spacers and had to go to 4 different shops to find the right one. Who makes spacers in .5mm depths?

I find it just batshit crazy that my credit score goes down when I want to finance something. They should be happy that I want to spend money but no…it takes 6 months to bring it back to where it was. Make it make sense?

Aaaaaaaaaaaand that’s a wrap on my oldests high school career! The senior paper toss. Captain of the mtb team this year, marketing director of the Robotics team for 2 years and finished up 200hrs of cadet teaching locally. Graduation is next week! Where did the time go?

Almost lost a Jesus spring tonight…aka a pawl spring. Popped out while putting on the cassette. Luckily we found it and got it all back together. Der, cassette, front brake are all setup.

What day is it? It’s about to be new to us bike day…@yeticycles 2021 SB130 with a host of new parts. My youngest’s new whip. He needs a more trail bike than my oldest who had 2018 ASR XC bike. Now the whole family is part of the tribe! Mrs FMVC and I both have SB5’s.

So haven’t been to Toyko Joes in ages. Not one close to the office and I don’t go out much during work hours. No more Joes Special which was just rice, dark chicken meat and a drink. I don’t need to build my own at twice the price. Guess it’s just the world we live in and I can just stay home…

Took the youngest to the bikeshop today. Got himself a new ride and it needs to have some parts installed that I don’t have the tools for. Made him introduce himself, explain what needed to be done, filled out the work ticket and put his phone number down. They grow up so fast…

And with another game in the books…#BravesBaseball is on a 2 game win streak! Won a good game last night and came back this afternoon to hold on for the win. The youngest pitched well last night and went 2-3 today. Currently 3-5 half way through the season.

Why is mountain biking so hard? I’ve been doing forever but also getting older for that same amount of time. But I’m having fun again on the bike.
