Because there's no profit in fixing things for good. They'd be out there curing everything if they knew they could get perpetual income from it.
It’s amazing how fast they can build a concentration camp: “Alligator Alcatraz”— but they can’t manage to fix a levee, fund a hospital, or get clean water to poor communities.

I'm the only one in my circle whose mom is still on this side of the curtain. I don't take that fact for granted, nor do I forget how fortunate I am to have a good, solid relationship with her. I like and love her.
