The federal government continues to make life harder for Americans, but we’re working every day in Metro to make it easier for Nashvillians.

We’ve put together resources for people at risk of losing SNAP benefits as a result of the federal shutdown.

We're moving on all aspects of Choose How You Move—sidewalks, signals, service, and safety.

It’s time for an important conversation about school start times.

We can improve student health and performance and still address the complicated schedules of today’s teenagers and families.

I’m excited to be a part of this effort with Dr. Battle and @metroschools.bsky.social.
This isn’t just about bells and buses – it's how we set our students up for success. We’re launching a robust period of public engagement to review school start and stop times.

We’ve spent the past few weeks preparing for the worsening impact of the federal government shutdown.

Today we joined Second Harvest and NewsChannel 5 to launch the Hunger Can’t Wait campaign.

Much more to come over the next few days, but you can help now.

Polls are open!

Nashville, we have an important special election in one of the three congressional districts that now cover the city.

If you live in TN-7, you have an important federal accountability moment.

I wasn’t able to capture photographic proof because our family was biking to Oktoberfest, but I just passed @rollinhorton.bsky.social riding bikes in the wrong direction.

Unclear if he has advised @jkupin4d19.bsky.social of his activities this morning.

Anyway: Prost!
