Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney spoke to trump today and set him straight. Canada paid the 4 billion cost of the bridge which had Canadian and American steel and construction workers. The bridge is owned jointly by Canada and Michigan.
Trump is demanding to be compensated for a bridge the construction of which was totally funded by Canada. Make that make sense.
Trump, in the middle of his latest unhinged Truth Social screed, claims that if Canada makes a trade deal with China, "the first thing China will do is terminate ALL Ice Hockey being played in Canada, and permanently eliminate The Stanley Cup."

This is surreal. 4 Oglala Lakota men kidnapped by ICE in Minneapolis have finally been located. One of them was released but the other 3 are being held at Fort Snelling, a former concentration camp used to imprison Native people incl. the Dakota 38 during Dakota Wars.

President Zelenskyy was in Canada today meeting with Prime Minister Mark Carney. I hope Mr. Carney advised Mr. Zelenskyy on how to deal with the guy he’s meeting in Florida tomorrow. (BTW these two men are better educated than the Florida guy - an economist and a lawyer respectively.)
