So the “closed” daycares…were closed during the last week of the year, during which most daycares are closed. And the doors were “locked,” which they are at every daycare. And they wouldn’t let in a “journalist” with a camera…which they wouldn’t do at any daycare. Got it.

People who took Trump’s first regime lightly were gravely mistaken. He laid the groundwork for his current reign. To me, the Democratic Party, most notably its leadership, failed to install the necessary guardrails; not that it was inevitable, but seeds were sown for what was possibly in the offing.

Impeachment isn’t enough bc then we’re left with the Senate not convicting him. For a 3rd time. And at the moment we don’t have any chance of that happening in the Senate bc it’s a 2/3 vote threshold for removal. And then JDV will pardon him and just continue with the fascism. 😣
