France Visa Free is a campaign group that would like every Briton to be free to visit France for up to 180 days in any year without the need for a visa.
Our goal is an arrangement that mirrors what every French citizen gains on visiting the UK.

More liberal mutual mobility arrangements could be the first stop on the journey to rejoining the EU or Single Market.

Quite. And if you emigrate permanently from one country to another every two months, at any point in time, which is your primary home?

Congratulations to @andrewhesselden.bsky.social on his election to the Council of the European Movement. The voice of tens of thousands can hopefully be now heard within the EM!

“The UK is far from being an ordinary third country.” What do these words from Nathalie Loiseau mean for the EU-UK relationship? It could and it does mean there are and there can be bespoke arrangements between the two affecting trade, travel, security etc.

“The EU and the UK share a common history, particularly as members of the EU. We are close neighbours both geographically and in our values. “ Nathalie Loiseau MEP .

“ The UK is far from being an ordinary third country.“ Nathalie Loiseau MEP former co-Chair of the EU-UK Parliamentary Partnership.

Powerful words that demonstrate why it is reasonable and in order to seek a bespoke mobility agreement to address the 90 in 180 days problem.

The Tories can shout at me all they like, but the truth is their Brexit deal it is hurting our country and Labour won’t do anything about it.

Today I urged the Prime Minister to actually fix it.

Andrew Hesselden

From what i've seen, there is a targeted harrassment and bullying campaign against this guy;

bsky.app/profile/andr...

I don't understand the reason for it. And frankly I find it suspicious.
I support rejoining the EU as soon as possible, by the fastest route possible.

But if that isn’t possible yet, then I want politicians to do everything in their power to make travel, trade and cross border living, working and studying easy again.

Of all the things you could spend your energy criticizing and campaigning against.... #Brexit, #Trump, #Russia etc.... no, no... you choose to spend all your time harrassing Hesselden because he has a slightly different opinion about Brit residency

Here’s what we mean when we talk about the 90-in-180-day problem.

This is why British people want the government to restore mutual Freedom of Movement.

I had trolls like this on Twitter. Brexiters and Vatniks that stalked me for years. I'd get their accounts suspended, they'd make more.

This chap;
@andrewhesselden.bsky.social

Is experiencing this same thing. Only the trolls have followed him from Twitter to Bluesky.
Jesus fucking christ.... look at the state of you...

You sound unhinged.

Leave the guy alone. He's a Pro European. He wants his FOM back... who gives a shit?

You're acting like he's a war criminal.

And to some extent, I agree with Katy Lam that the Brexit withdrawal agreement does need to be reopened or added to.

But not to remove rights; instead:

➡️ To add to it and protect *more* rights for *more* people 🇪🇺🇬🇧.

It’s the human thing to do.
The devastating logical conclusion of this kind of argument is that anyone daring to cross a border (including British people) deserve to have all of their future national insurance rights or safety nets removed.

It’s why EU membership mattered.

France Visa Free exists to lobby the UK government to reopen negotiations with the EU to resolve the 90-in-180-day problem. If they are unwilling to rejoin the EU, the Single Market, or restore mutual Freedom of Movement, then we urge them to engage with the EU to find new visa-free solutions.
