Mavis's parents were both killed by enemy soldiers. They got along well most of the time in her childhood, but at some point Mavis began to disagree with her parents' views and in the end the relationship with them became strained.

Mavis's parents were both killed by enemy soldiers. They got along well most of the time in her childhood, but at some point Mavis began to disagree with her parents' views and in the end the relationship with them became strained.
Mavis is too forgiving. You could kill a friend or family member of hers and she would still welcome you into her team if you want to "switch sides" because she believes everyone deserves redemption.
