It's unbelievable that Poilievre hasn't resigned yet. Last week, there were rumors buzzing around Ottawa that he intended to step down. Now, the Federal Liberals are leading polls in every province, including AB. If the CPC wants to survive, they need new leadership. Canadians will not make PP PM.

Unfortunately the rumors were just rumors. Poilievre didn't resign. Instead, he's holding a press conference after losing 2 MPs.

US Democrats caving-in to Trump's agenda is a tragedy. Dick Durbin, Tim Kaine, Maggie Hassan and the other boot lickers have become a total disgrace. At least Adelita Grijalva will be sworn-in, but the Epstein files will have been scrubbed by now. USA has become a terrible place.

Rumors are swirling that Canadian Conservative Party leader, Pierre Poilievre, will step down as party leader this coming Monday. If so, I applaud the architects of his resignation. He cannot win an election. Canadians won't have it. Here's to the CPC choosing someone who is far less toxic.

U.S. Ambassador to Canada, Pete Hoekstra, needs to calm down. Save some outrage for a real crisis - like, I dunno... illegally killing Venezuelans or the collapse of American democracy.

If I was a politician, I'd never say, "let me be clear..." (like all of them say at some point or another). I would simply speak honestly, audibly and directly all of the time. "Let me be clear..." implies that what they normally say is unclear - which it often is. Raise the bar. It's time.

Fantastic thread on the recent article about the search for an atmosphere around the roughly Earth-sized, habitable zone (of a very small star) planet Trappist-1 e, based on JWST observations. Really not much more than a hint of an atmosphere for now, but stay tuned (& follow @distantworlds.space)!
We observed the habitable zone planet TRAPPIST-1e with JWST to search for an atmosphere.

You've seen the headlines, now let's dive into the science! 🧪

Stunning! A gigantic jet of gas from a newly forming huge star. The size of this jet is about *8 light-years* - that's TWICE the distance b/n the Sun and the next closest star 🤯 #jwst Read more: science.nasa.gov/missions/web...

“This very well could be the clearest sign of life that we have ever found on Mars“

I would suggest this is a repeat of the “arsenate life” press fiasco from 2010, except this isn’t NASA’s press office, this time it‘s Sec’y of Transportation, acting NASA Administrator, and noted dumbass Sean Duffy
