The grocery store (Kroger) had 80/20 ground beef, store brand, for $8/lb. There is something fundamentally wrong with the cost of groceries.

It's not a major graphics lift or anything, but I've added hirelings to my hexcrawl and I spent all day refining how they function. I'm pretty happy about that. #indiegamedev

I definitely can understand why cheats exist for development purposes. "Man, why is my character not finding any traps?"

It's taken all day, but finally. Finally. I have a player indicator (placeholder yellow diamond) that actually syncs up with the map and gives the right result when it moves to a new hex.

Right now, Halloween candy is more expensive than ammunition - $10 for a bag of 30 pieces or 25¢ a round for .45 ACP.
