the "legacy" gpu dynamic kernel module support is a glitchy mess and idk what i'm doing wrong

ugh debugging a gpu issue on linux makes me feel like i'm defusing something!
like, it's not actively gonna do anything but the fear of not being able to fix it,,,
wish i'd upgraded from a legacy gpu in that short period btwn mining dying down and datacenters/new tariffs messing everything further
