I didn’t have cable growing up but my grandma did. So when I went to her house she let me watch Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network all day long, as long as she got to watch the 1 o’clock and 6 o’clock news up to the weather announcement. Then it was back to cartoons

Mine taught me it’s ok to go against the grain as long as you’re staying true to you and have a plan to make it work. I also get my proclivity towards art and music from him so we can always bond around that.
