I've been increasingly interested in historical fiction and this would pair well with a Regency pistilverse idea I had where Seokjin would marry Jeongguk in his second marriage, but I didn't know exactly how to carry forward after that. Anyway thoughts are being thought.
A thought I find very appealing is that of a jinkook fic where Jeongguk is in love with his best friend, who is also Seokjin's husband, and while his feelings aren't either a secret or reciprocated, they don't prevent the three of them from still being friends. +

Quick update: writing's going well these days, and the finished fic will likely fit the expected word count! I'm currently a little over halfway.
I've written 7k words for this fic but it's not going anywhere yet, and it's supposed to be 30k words at most...

This is good, I'd love to read it!! Macabre mixed pistilverse and soulmates after a prompt of mine (for "bolting"), and I think I saw writers from other ships incorporating soulmates into pistilverse, but of course, everyone does it differently.
I've been having thoughts about pistilverse mixed with soulmates (or is that a thing already?). In particular, about pistil Seokjin moving to a new city for work and unknowingly bumping into his soulmate.
