I know they teach us in school that SCOTUS is an unbiased, totally non-partisan "set apart" court meant to uphold the Constitution and protect our rights. I hope that lie is never taught again in America's classrooms after this is all over.

@schumer.senate.gov + Senate Dems just decided to give away the only leverage they had. We know now that Dems think so little of their own voters that they tried to play us. We have no opposition party to fascism in Congress. We wouldnt have blamed them for a shutdown but we will never forget this.
