There's a media ecosystem which is propagandizing the situation and it's leaked well beyond Fox now. The state itself is looking for reasons the shooting could be justified.

A) Didn’t realize it was possible for my opinion of TC to improve any more.
B) It’s really appreciated to see a non-trans person calling out Newsom for his transphobia. Most people are willing to give us up if they think it would help them, and it’s refreshing to see someone speaking out otherwise.

It’s funny how the dumbest things can get to you. Was checking facebook to see local school happenings, and saw the ”you might know” people.
My grandma’s facebook account is still there. Nothing about her passing, it just seems like she hasn’t posted in a bit. That hit a lot harder than I thought.

We’re learning about John Smith in my American Lit class and uh. Wow. I forgot how bad the Pocahontas movie was, and now cannot tolerate any part of it. There’s something to be said about Disney being a part of nearly every kid’s life and also being so evil.

Really not sure how I ended up following every Minneapolis tech person. There’s no other city that I follow multiple people from (as far as I know).
Seeing it all is making me contemplate trying to move to Minnesota one day though.

TIL when people say they get tired when they have to drive long distances, they don’t mean nearly completely falling asleep after a half hour of driving, they generally mean 2+ hours of driving.
It makes so much more sense how people do roadtrips without half hour stops.
