Absolutely superb article. Dreams of cheap renewables and clean tech being available to all are just fantasies. There will always be a controlling power raising the costs for the masses. After centuries of Western superiority, China tips the balance. And the global poverty divide grows on.
Tariffs... "China has spent decades building its dominance over these supply chains, while the U.S. was busy outsourcing, divesting, and cheerfully ignoring every report that said, “Hey, maybe 90% dependence on a single country we keep starting trade wars with and rattling sabers at is a bad idea”

Disturbing stuff on Trump corruption from Senator Chris Murphy.
Senator Chris Murphy took to the Senate floor on Friday to break down the corruption flowing from the WH. He connects the dots, and makes a clear argument regarding who what where and why Shitler and Muskrat are destroying our govt!! This needs to be shared far and wide!!

So difficult to read... I genuinely feel tearful when reading about this erosion of decency and professionalism in the US armed forces.
“Our country is in uncharted territory. We have an administration that is waging war against the rule of law…America has a rogue president and a rogue administration, and we need to acknowledge that and respond.”—former Sec of the US Air Force Frank Kendall
"all serving members are trained to understand that America stands for more than naked self-interest. Above all, it stands up for the Constitution and the rule of law, including the laws of armed conflict and those that restrict the use of the military against American citizens."

It just gets worse every day...
Yes, the US President, who was himself found liable of rape, is now trying to lean on a sovereign country to go easy on the Tate’s, two scumbag men accused of rape and sex trafficking. Probably because Trump wasn’t involved in this alleged network, unlike Epstein, if he was they’d already be dead.

I found this article incredibly disturbing. I felt physically sick reading about Musk's coup of the US government. What can we do?
This is a digital coup. A data coup.

What Musk's boy-man cyber troops have done - because that's what they are, mercenaries - is take control of the federal government's operating systems. They've downloaded or scraped vast quantities of data. It's a hack on an unprecedented scale.
