If you haven’t seen this bizarre, incredible, fever-dream movie yet imo your life is simply incomplete
sometimes it's hard to get out of bed, get dressed, and start my day

but then I think about how delighted Hans Conried's titular gay supervillain is to get dressed in Dr. T, and it gives me the energy I need

played agricola (2007) for the first time today & experienced the board game equivalent of reading great expectations and thinking "yknow this classic novel is actually pretty great, who knew!"

The funniest possible thing happened last night:

Me, to @babaloga.bsky.social, breaking a dog biscuit: ok THIS time I’m not going to—

Cut my knuckles on a dog biscuit - the universe is keeping me humble 😓

nyc is constantly changing, but then there's things that just seem to be eternal. today's entry: first encountered jonathan toubin absolutely crushing andrew wk in a dollar-bin record dj battle at housing works way back in 2009(?) and just got tix to his ongoing soul dance party for next week.

algorithms doing their job: i know all about the city's snow removal/cold weather emergency plans, but was completely unaware of the superbowl and olympics until yesterday.

One of the strangest jobs I’ve done was “fire blood cannon from inside a puppet” for a show at the Whitney so just FYI muppet people, if you need a puppet cannoneer I’m available.
Jim Henson would have built a practical eyeball-cannon housed inside the Beaker puppet is all i am saying

I’m taking an art class this semester! This weeks sketch assignment was to draw a creature based on a designed object (basically diy Pokémon)

Well deserved success for an incredible game
Thrilled to announce that Slay the Princess has officially surpassed one million units sold!

When we started work on it, we couldn't imagine a visual novel would be able to hit such a milestone let alone being backed by critical acclaim. And yet, here we are. We couldn't have done this without you.

How is it STILL the same month?? I don’t understand.
personally i packed an entire narrative arc into the last week

things that happened on weds feel like another lifetime, linear time no longer has meaning
Anyone else feel like January has just been *crawling*?????

The best part of brainstorming project ideas is taking wildly different games and making them kiss.

Just days into 2026, the killing of 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good by a federal immigration officer in Minneapolis, Minnesota, has sparked protests around the US.

If you’re planning to protest, here’s how to safeguard your digital security.

Immeasurably satisfying to look back at my work from the semester and realize that my first game and last presentation were - coincidentally - about the same thing, right down to the specific mention of brother ant.

Every time I watch moonstruck I find something new to appreciate it. This time, the plaintive shopgirl at the bakery and olympia dukakis’ sheer range of disgusted expressions. Seeing it with a big crew @boshis.place giggling along made it even better! 🌕

maybe this is just the monkey's paw delivering on those "precedented times" we were asking for.
if you're not already familiar, and a lot of white people aren't, the USA, England, France etc. etc. have always behaved like this.
