It's funny to me that gaming-wise this year, the two releases that I enjoyed the most have polar opposite strengths and weaknesses:
Stellar Blade: fantastic combat with weak story
Silent Hill f: fantastic story with weak combat

House update: the seller will finally move out by the end of this month! I will be spending December lightly renovating the 2nd floor/stairs, along with moving some light stuff+new furniture, before doing the big move by the end of the year.
It's gonna be a very busy December, but well worth it.

I wish people would just suck it up and say "I hate street fighter 6" instead of trying to undermine the community in incredibly stupid nonsensical ways like "kids are winning because this game is easy". Shit like this is part of why I don't like playing the game anymore.

The Reze movie was very good. This might sound backhanded, but it actually made me care for the Reze arc since it felt more of a footnote in the manga than anything big. The action was very funny/grandiose and the emotional moments hit better in the anime.

Power and internet are both back, good timing because I just came back from dinner lol
welp, big fire happened in my neighborhood and the power is out. My building is fine, it was another one across the street. Hopefully everyone there is okay, but it's a total mess outside with fire engines everywhere and people gathering outside the smoky building.

I reinstalled photoshop to test how it fares under the new cpu I got over the summer...that and I upgraded to a 5070 as well during then. It runs a lot smoother and rotating the canvas doesn't chug my machine anymore. Here's a quick sketch I did while testing.
