It's funny to me that gaming-wise this year, the two releases that I enjoyed the most have polar opposite strengths and weaknesses:
Stellar Blade: fantastic combat with weak story
Silent Hill f: fantastic story with weak combat
Either way, I had a great time with both. Shine on, queens 🔥

I reinstalled photoshop to test how it fares under the new cpu I got over the summer...that and I upgraded to a 5070 as well during then. It runs a lot smoother and rotating the canvas doesn't chug my machine anymore. Here's a quick sketch I did while testing.

Konatsu Kato, Hinako's voice actress and face model, was streaming herself playing Silent Hill f. She had a ton of great reactions, but I especially wanted to draw this part.

Finished up Lost in the Fog run.
That was the worst experience I've had in this whole game, and I never want to do it again. It felt like everything people were complaining about regarding this game was legit with this one. I'm glad I got the achievements though.
Now to find that last damn ema....

gdi I'm so CLOSE. I can't find the last ema to max out all my stats though, and I don't know where that ema is. That, or I don't even know if it's possible to max EVERYTHING in one save file; I maxed out health, stamina, and omamori slots, but I'm missing sanity.

Got all endings for Silent Hill f.
Beautiful story, wonderful characters, new revelations all filled me with awe. The True Ending route, especially at Hinako's house, had me in tears for very personal reasons and it felt cathartic to see everything unfold. Combat was sadly iffy in some parts though
