All Febhyurary 2026 scripts are now either done or at least scripted up until the "Hang-Out" day, because I simply could not resist. Several of the later ones are scripted as well. I am officially consumed by this activity. Cancel my appointments. No calls. Let me have a month in fantasy land.

[ The Cieldalaes Archipelago — Island Settlement MW.0512 ] Margot Weisshexer stands on a beach of her private island sanctuary, gazing eastward at the rising sun. She is wearing naught but a blue two-piece swimsuit. Her red hair shines radiantly in the morning light. Margot lifts her face toward the sun, her eyes closed, feeling the warm rays on her skin. A look of deep contentment washes over her features. "Another beautiful dawn breaks on our beloved star," the thinks to herself. "Oh how my heart aches at the warmth and beauty of this place." She opens her eyes and surveys the beach to her left curiously. "It can be quite a relief to indulge in a bit of solitude now and again, I suppose," she muses. "When Tataru said this place would be private, I don't think I fully understood. Naught but myself, the mammets, and the wildlife out here..." Seeing no one to her left, she looks to her right and scans the rest of the beach. "And given that... well... then it seems no one would be the wiser if I quietly explored one of Mariko's more insistent suggestions..." Suddenly shedding her swimsuit, Margot sprints into the shallows of the blue-green lagoon. A too-short time later, Tataru Taru carefully makes her way down to the beach, casting her gaze around the warm sands. "Oh, Margot?" she calls out, "Are you out here somewhere? I'm sorry to drop in unannounced so early in the morning, but the Initiative's monthly reports are due soon, so I thought I'd—" Her breath catches in her throat before she can utter another word, as she has just sighted her quarry (not pictured), very unexpectedly unclothed. Tataru puts her hands to her cheeks and gasps in a disorienting combination of disbelief and embarrassment.

[ The Black Shroud — Hawthorne's Hut ] On a sunny day in the eastern Shroud, a Hearer in customary blue robes and conical hat stands in conversation with two Wood Wailers in the shadow of the aetheryte outside Hawthorne's Hut. Suddenly the Hearer, by the name of Joacin, perceives... something. He raises a hand and says to the Wailers, "I beg your pardon, but I have just heard something... curious, from the Elementals, and must needs investigate. I shall return momentarily." As he traverses the road from Hawthorne's Hut toward the East End, he contemplates the situation. "I have not heard the Elementals try to divert my attention so strongly in some time," he thinks to himself. "The Spire seems intact. Naught seems amiss." Cautiously he approaches the watchtower on the border with Ala Mhigo. "Good day, Wailer," Joacin hails the guard at the base of the tower, "I don't mean to be a bother, but I had the strangest feeling that—" He stops short, stunned, as he sees what the Wood Wailer is holding cradled in his arms — a tiny hyuran infant, swaddled in a white blanket. The Wailer, a young elezen named Maximiloix, seems relieved to see Joacin approaching. "Hearer, we're in a bit of a bother already," he sighs, "but perhaps you can help. We've but recently taken delivery of a very rare package indeed, apparently smuggled over the border from Ala Mhigo. Could we help you take her the rest of the way to the city?"

The Scions of the Seventh Dawn emerge from the Garlean base called "Baelsar's Wall" and onto the fringes of Gyr Abania. From left to right: Krile, Y'shtola, Alphinaud, Treurenbloem, Lyse, and Alisaie. Treurenbloem Rowdottir surveys her surroundings. Just as she did during the mission to retake Castrum Oriens, she has donned the uniform of a Maelstrom fleet captain, the better to represent the interests of the Eorzean Alliance. The scar on her left cheek — a reminder of the start of her long naval hiatus — is as prominent as ever. The main title for "Stormblood" appears over a panorama of the Velodyna River valley, dominated by the giant Garlean penant hanging from a tower high above. Minfauxlia Warde went to Ishgard. While walking around the city, she heard tell of a knight who had been executed unjustly. She followed the Temple Knights, and found where they'd dumped the man's corpse. And suddenly... It wasn't a man at all, but a woman, in dark armor, wearing a mask, so that only her eyes were visible. In a familiar voice that she just couldn't place, the knight simply asked, "Can you hear it?" Now here stands Minfauxlia, wearing a chainmail shirt made from darksteel rings and hemmed with red and gold. Her armored leggings are lacquered the color of blood. Upon her face, she wears the Sable Death Mask symbolizing her as the hero who united the "beast tribes". In her hands she holds a curved greatsword, its entire length awash with glowing dark aether. The Warrior of Light has become one with her dark side...

Minfauxlia Warde, dressed in a heavy fur-lined coat and white hooded cap, crosses the Steps of Faith during a blinding blizzard. Minfauxlia Warde, Alphinaud Leveilleur, and Tataru Taru, their winter clothes insufficient in the gale of Ishgard's perpetual winter, stand outside the gates of the great capital city. Minfauxlia, Alphinaud, and Tataru step through the gates into Ishgard. Count Edmont de Fortemps's narration appears as a subtitle: "Through gates long closed, the Warrior of Light and her companions passed, entering at last a city whose history was written in blood." Over a panorama of the pillars of Ishgard, the title "HEAVENSWARD" appears.

Nearby, in the Fragrant Chamber, a banquet is in progress, to celebrate Ishgard's successful defense against the Dravanian Horde. The Sultana addresses the Warrior of Light: "You must be curious as to the reason for this private audience. The matter I would discuss, however, will soon make apparent the need for discretion." Nanamo looks gravely across the table. "I intend to abdicate the throne and dissolve the monarchy," she announces. Minfauxlia frowns in disbelief and responds, "I beg your pardon?" Nanamo explains, seriously, "You have seen for yourself the storm of turmoil that howls through our streets. The government fails in its responsibilities, and my subjects suffer the consequences of our incompetence." "But I will see them suffer no longer," the Sultana proclaims. "The victory feast shall provide the stage on which I declare the dissolution of the sultanate." Her expression brightens as she thinks of the future. "'Tis mine intent that the ruling class of our golden city should take its place beside the common man in a fair and equitable republic. No more shall this nation bow to the whims of a privileged few." In the Fragrant Chamber, we see Raubahn standing with the other heads of state who have gathered for the banquet. Nanamo continues, "Yet that which I propose will entail the tearing up of this city's very foundations. And even Raubahn with all his strength and influence will be hard-pressed to keep his footing on such treacherous ground. Thus would I ask you to lend him a steadying hand." Back in her quarters, Nanamo frowns again, regarding Minfauxlia with a critical gaze. "I confess that I make this request with some reservations," she reveals. "I know not how a second Minfilia has come to lead the Scions, nor whether you may be trusted. But circumstances have left me with little choice in the matter. Will you do this thing for me?"

[ Ishgard — The Brume ] The newly-named "Hilda's Hounds" stand in conference on the lower levels of The Brume, under a gray, snowy sky. Hilda Ware, in her customary black leathers, is briefing Largo Canzondolore, who is to join them as a mentor. "The watch has been tasked with its first big job," she informs him: "standin' guard at the Temple Knight's investiture ceremony. This ceremony's an important event, and settin' the watch to, well, watch over it, is a gesture what's meant to 'embody the new spirit of harmony between highborn and lowborn.'" Hilda scowls. "There's to be a meeting to discuss security concerns for the event," she continues, "and I want you sittin' in on it. You see," she sighs, gesticulating in frustration as her frown grows deeper, "the representative for the Temple Knights is the kind of bloke what has me itchin' to shoot him in the teeth. Pompous bastard by the name of Muscadain. If you're there, I might just be able to keep my trigger finger under control." Largo rubs his bearded chin with one hand, looking away, as if carefully considering the situation, though his mouth curls into a roguish grin, betraying his feigned dignity. "Well," he breathes, as if daunted by such an effort, "for you, my dear, I'll certainly try my best. Though, it's been quite a while since you and I had the pleasure of exploring what sorts of reactions we could trigger with our fingers." Hilda clutches her head in both hands and gasps, her eyes widening in shock. Symme and Eudestand, her ever-loyal comrades, recoil in surprise. Rostnsthal, standing off to one side, laughs heartily.

[ Il Mheg — Lydha Lran ] Mariko Kazama and Thancred Waters stand face-to-face in the strangely empty main square of the faerie city. Mariko, her green and yellow samurai robes paled by the harsh light of the First, waves an accusatory finger at Thancred, who stands over her with arms crossed. "Just what do you think you're doing to that girl?" she hisses at him. "I've never seen you so vicious." Thancred shrugs and looks around in a caricature of a greeting. "Oh, Mariko, I know, I missed you terribly as well. How long it's been!" He then leans in and glares directly into Mariko's eyes, annoyance cracking his already thin veneer of friendly charm. "I'm sorry I got dragged into another splinter of existence against my will and spent five years trying to save our star from oblivion." Mariko recoils in an attempt to contain her reactionary anger — an attempt which ultimately fails. "Don't you change the subject," she seethes. "Of course I've... missed you. But what in the hells has gotten into you? This is not the Thancred I know." It is Thancred's turn to point a finger in Mariko's face, parrying her verbal attack. "Strange," he muses rhetorically, "how fighting for your life on another world, knowing you may never return home again, being confronted every day with the bitter failures of your past, will change a man." Mariko looks him up and down, unimpressed with his argument. "Well I never thought you'd change into... this. You've donned the mantle of a protector, but the attitude of a... a what, exactly? Are you her teacher? Her jailor? Her fa—" "Enough," Thancred interjects before Mariko can speak the word that would seem to offend him most of all. "Not only are you apparently too naive to understand what we've been through here, you don't seem particularly interested in trying." Mariko's scowl clearly indicates that any hint of patience she might have had with Thancred has been thoroughly obliterated. "Oh, I am now resolved more than ever to prevent this... Rejoining, or whatever it is," she spiuts back, "if an excess of Light can so easily strip a man of his very capacity for compassion." Thancred clutches his head and growls in frustration, his words utterly failing him.
