I dunno chat, is it not a bit bleak that the best part of every day is going to bed? I wake up at 7 in the morning and from about 7:20 all I can think about the rest of the day is how much I can't fucking wait to go to sleep. It sustains me. Honestly it's the only thing that keeps me going.

Again, fully agree. I think also there's an element of self preservation because it's too frightening to face the reality of how unstable things are. It's easier to see ourselves as an exception - 'no no the US couldn't possibly fuck with us'. They can and they will.

The fact that he is even 'making a load of noise' is problematic enough. He is a malignant narcissist and I think it's unwise to assume he will behave reasonably when his actions thus far have shown otherwise. He is a danger and it's a credible threat.
