Can someone (or some epic legal machine) please litigate this administration into oblivion? I've never seen so many constitutional violations & impeachable offenses in so short a period of time. How long are we going to keep saying "Something's gotta give; something will stop them in their tracks?!"

Have you noticed that Trump only won the presidency when he had a woman opponent? Both times.

That says more about us as a country and our failure to recognize the power of women than it does about him as a man.

“They’re taking our jobs” was always a lie. Alabama proved it.

Alabama tried a “tough” immigration law, and it backfired hard. Immigrants fled, crops rotted, and farms collapsed. Americans tried to step in but couldn’t last a day.

They’re not taking your jobs; they’re doing the jobs you won’t do.

Resigning is tantamount to complying in advance. DO NOT comply in advance. Fight fascism and authoritarianism however you can, whenever you can. Always.
I do not understand why government officials resign when asked to do something bad.

The resignations will no longer be treated by the public like a scandal. It’ll be out of the news within 24 hours. People should stay and force the White House to fire them.

Do not make it easy.

Hi, immunologist here:

(a scientist who studies immune & inflammatory processes)

RFK Jr is talking absolute bullshit when he says he can “see in kids faces that they have inflammation”

That’s NOT how immunology works.

He is an anti-science profiteer.
Start calling him such.

Remembering today when pro-GOP media erupted with outrage over Kamala Harris' warning that Trump had plans to militarize the national guard and deploy them on the streets of US cities. Indeed, he had such plans. And now he's implementing them.

Me over here, having to wait a year to get a regular old checkup with a primary care provider in the American healthcare system despite being told that my doctors office was “accepting new patients.” Yeah, ok.
America: Universal healthcare creates wait times for healthcare.

Also America: waits six months for a neurosurgeon consult and a year to get into a dermatologist…

Took an unintentional break from #Science #Trivia #Saturday this summer (life, chaos, heat waves, ugh). Looking forward to getting back into things with the autumn semester, though! Send me your favorite science facts (the odder, the better), and I'll feature them throughout the school year! 🧪

Article I Sections 9 & 10 of the U.S. Constitution—which limit presidential power over tariffs and protect habeas corpus—have disappeared from Congress’s website. They claim a coding error is to blame.

Articles I, Sections 9 and 10 are inaccessible on Congress-run portal, raising concerns over transparency and public access.

When I was little, the U.S. military came to our home at gunpoint and took me and my family away. We were imprisoned for years in barbed wire camps simply because we were Japanese American. I have spent my life telling that story, hoping it would never be repeated.

America is beautiful, contradictory, unfinished. I am proud of our country even as we constantly strive to make it better, to protect and deepen our democracy, to fulfill its promise for each and every person who calls it home.

Happy Independence Day. No Kings in America.
