Pelicans list Jose Alvarado as OUT tonight while Trey Murphy and Herb Jones are QUESTIONABLE
Pelicans registered 54 potential assists last night, which by my count is the second best total in the NBA this season for regulation.
85.7% rim and three frequency (Pels second highest of the season). But they only converted on 28 asts.

Hard to find a worse set of transactions in ONE off-season than the Pacers trade, Wizards trade, Hawks trade. That's before we get to the minor but still harmful misses in Looney and Hawkins option. Truly an all-time bad executive stretch in just a few short months.

Marc Stein is reporting that the Hawks may have to send draft capital to the Wizards for CJ McCollum's expiring deal to unload Trae.
If that ends up being the case, the Pels/Was trade also enters all time bad territory.

Did a quick check on which positions each team is getting production from to see how the Pelicans stack up positionally. They are getting the least combined production in the league from the PG, SG, and C positions. Separated out, they are LAST at PG, 27th at SG, and 26th at C

One of the big reasons why Pelicans are so poor in transition defense and defense in general while Fears is on the court is every missed layup is basically 2 points the other way
