Pelicans once again do not introduce Willie Green. Earlier today I asked him if it was his decision and he said it was not.

Willie Green says it was not his decision to not be introduced during the pre game introductions

From the Vardon, Clark, and Amick article - this highlights absolutely perverse incentives for a manager trying to cling onto his job, forcing a player back from injury

Dumont had a conversation with a fan and fired Nico the next day. Gotta respect that. If only the Pelicans ownership group was willing to listen as well.

This is every player who has played at least 15 minutes with Jordan Poole this season. It's hard to overstate just how bad of an impact Poole has had on the Pelicans' lineups this season so far.
November 10, 2025 at 6:31 PM
Over 1950 career minutes played together, the CJ, Herb, Trey trio was +6.06 per 100
I know it was a different team but what was CJs impact last season with herb and trey?
November 10, 2025 at 5:17 PM
They are of course all related, but I'm telling you, this is a complete and total trainwreck when Poole hits the floor
November 10, 2025 at 5:04 PM
The under the hood data suggests it was a whole lot more Jordan Poole than anyone else. Obviously basketball is complex and it doesn't work that straightforward. But I'm not sure people have fully grasped how bad his minutes have been.
I still think the biggest reason for the 0-6 start was the terrible start from Trey & Herb (both coming back from long rehabs). They've returned to form over the last week and it's made a big difference.
Trey Murphy has averaged 21.8 POGs on 63% eFG% in his last 5 games, including 41 vs San Antonio. A lot of that, IMO, can be attributed to him being put in motion off ball, running in transition & attacking the offensive glass (1.6 OREB since 10/31.) I hope to see more of this when the team is whole.

I fully support this idea, and so should the Mavs.
Jason Kidd wants to play Cooper out of position at point guard. Zion LOVES playing point guard. This is obviously a no brainer.
November 10, 2025 at 3:11 PM
It's clear the only way Nico Harrison can save his job and win back the admiration of the fanbase is to construct a trade that centers around Cooper Flagg for Zion. The Mavs are 14th in the West and Cooper has a -4.2 RAPM, clearly a bust. A win now move like trading for Zion will fix everything.

Derik Queen might be that dude

The Pelicans should start Fears, Trey, Herb, Karlo and Queen tonight

Have fun with it

Here's two hilarious moments from tonight's Derik Queen presser. First is DeAndre Jordan telling Queen to stand up while giving his interview and Queen clowning him back later
