The way the Brown University shooting ended — with the gunman walking away and disappearing — is highly unusual, according to Roger Williams University researchers who have studied active shooter events dating back to 1965.
The gunman vanished after the Brown shooting, which is rare, researchers say - The Boston Globe
“I can’t think of a single incident where the shooter was able to walk away and be completely unknown and still be at large four days later,” a Roger Williams University professor said.
