I think it was funny how often Nintendo wanted you to be aware that the GameCube was capable of displaying hundreds of characters at a time. We even got a peak game series out of it.

I know it's not really the point of the game but I find it funny how Minecraft is ~15 years old and has added a ton of QoL and ways to augment combat and armor, but in all that time it still has only *two* bosses

mario kart world's roster is great but becomes a lot less impressive when you consider most of it is made up of already-modeled stage hazards that are probably costumeless. if they genuinely cut the koopalings and diddy and funky i'll be seriously disappointed

I personally find it more impressive when a game uses the limited resources from the system’s hardware to their benefits than any game trying look photorealistic as possible.
