my hot take this November is that "cheater exposed" videos are a net negative to the speedrunning scene. they appeal to the base instincts of viewers and create acceptable targets of abuse. these things should be handled by moderators in private Discord servers, not shown to millions for humiliation

silence, weakling. I will not turn down the chance to explore alien worlds as a 6'7 woman in a 300 pound super suit. they could put the annoying orange on my HUD and I'd just pretend I was Samus being annoyed by it. THAT'S immersion.

it's really a shame because Adobe Premiere's new "extend this clip for another few frames with generated visuals" feature is SO cool in theory and would genuinely be a game changer (if you've edited videos, you know how a few frames can make a cut come together) but because it's fuckin' AI I hate it
