It is the funeral today. We will celebrate Sarah's life with our family and friends today, and finally lay her to rest. I'm not sure I can bear to say goodbye. She was so precious to us and every minute with her was a gift. I never wanted that to end and now it has after 16 short years. We miss her.

I wish I didn’t have to share this. But the BBC has decided to censor my first Reith Lecture.

They deleted the line in which I describe Donald Trump as “the most openly corrupt president in American history.” /1

Ultra processed foods are bad for you. Very bad. And the UK buys more of them than anywhere else in Europe. Another public health failure in regulating producers, advertisers, and sellers.

Probably won’t see this in mainstream media - aka the right wing press - coz it’s against their narrative. Wind energy in Britain broke a new record last week with nearly 23GW on the grid one cold windy evening. That was 56% of all electricity on Britain’s grid.

Recent research showed that a huge proportion (87%) of Brits rely on hanging wet clothes inside their homes – and they’re unknowingly causing serious issues.

A study by the University of Manchester found that drying a wet load of washing indoors can release two litres of water into your home.
The mould truth: Expert warns Brits of one common habit that brings damp into their homes
As winter returns, and households dry laundry indoors, new research suggests this is contributing to dangerous mould problems in the home

Bossy headline from The Times letting Farage insist his “Hitler was right” racism was just ‘banter’.
If that were true, his politics now would be different and he’d apologise. He’s defensive because this is what he is and always has been and he’s angry with us for knowing that and for minding.

Brexit and support for Farage's narrative have destroyed the Tory Party, reducing it to just 14 seats at the next election! The same will happen to Labour if they continue doing the same.

Today, after months of requests, I toured the Broadview ICE Processing Facility. I want to share what I saw.

The facility has no food vendor, no medical care, and detainees have to use toilets in the middle of shared cells. These are in no way suitable conditions to be holding anyone — period.

Zia Yusuf keeps trying to make this sound like this is ancient history, and Reform washed their hands of him, but nothing is further from the truth.

We have the same experience with our GPs. Once we log a call back, we do usually get triaged within the day. I wonder if it is a postcode lottery. We have relatives down near the Sussex coast where there is a huge elderly population. They have quite a different experience with their GPs.
