AMAZING. Westminster's pedestrianization plan for Regent Street St. James's, Waterloo Place, and the surrounding area is massive.

I prefer writing “Dear Concerned” in emails over anything else because in my head it implies that YOU are the one who’s overly concerned over these puny stuff. You are overreacting.

Yep. I saved hundreds or even thousands of dollars a month just from switching from Substack to self-hosted Ghost.

I pay a roughly flat $85/month now (~$75 for mailsending, $10 for hosting), vs. 10% of all my subscription income.
Former Substack creators say they’re earning more on new platforms that offer larger shares of subscription revenue
Former Substack writers who exited the platform in early 2024 are making more money on Beehiiv and Ghost thanks to their fixed pricing models.

I had a dream last night where I was so pissed because someone stopped me mid-sentence while I was yapping about El Niño and La Niña and why we might have a colder winter this year compared to the last one. (I watched a YouTube video on this subject right before bed.)

I wonder what’s the situation in Dhaka, one of the world’s least liveable cities.
“Nearly 2000 children under 5 are dying every day from air pollution, which has become the 2nd biggest health risk factor for young children around the world.

More than 8 million deaths of children & adults were caused by air pollution in 2021.” @TheGuardian.com www.theguardian.com/environment/...

my mom named her kid (me) “蓝天” which means bluesky in chinese, so i called myself “jay” to become a bird instead, and then some birdapp company named their project “bluesky” and i ended up running it.

no more of this “our infrastructure project needs 80 studies” and refusal to build housing.

it’s time to turn the blue states/cities into a utopia and advertising point for dems
