I asked my partner if a chapter referencing the Akira slide, introducing sword-wielding cyborg women whose augmentations make them look like praying mantids, and featuring a character wearing shades on a chopper like Terminator was cool enough and his reply was "absolute cinema"

I'll leave the E33 praise to you all because as much as I love it, today I'm celebrating Silksong and its victory as Best Action Adventure.

Silksong surpassed Death Stranding as my fave game, so call me biased, but it deserved AT LEAST Best Indie and Best Art. It won all the awards in my heart
