Some work out recently made, cetotherium riabinini is a small baleen whale from the Late Miocene of the Eastern Paratethys sea (Ukraine), a almost complete individual show it had remarkable body proportions unlike modern elongated species in a minuscule size.

To liven up Tuesday afternoon, have some speculative #dinosaurs adapted for modern habitats. Respectively, they are the magnificent and steppe fissurefrills, the berk, and the grand field titan. It's nice to take a break from pure #paleoart every now and then, and designing animals is fun.

It's World Crocodile Day and I conveniently just finished my skeletal of Deinosuchus hatcheri, a gigantic crocodylian (or near crocodylian) from Campanian Laramidia. This has been in the works for a long time and it feels good to have it done.

Here's an update on my Deinosuchus skeletal. Nearly all the bones are done, just gotta finish the skull detailing and the osteoderms. Also the back leg. But theoretically in the home stretch. #paleontology #Deinosuchus #paleoart

I should say that this Monday finally after a year waiting I got a new laptop, though I have yet to settle some things before taking it, I started to prove it to see how well it runs, so far painting has improved, here is a funny cow as a first try

Here the result of the St. Bathans fauna stream! This one took us into the early Miocene of New Zealand, the Moa's ark, as some call it. After many formation streams with very few birds this one has probably way too many!

Happy Birthday Dearc! The first named Scottish pterosaur, described in 2022, Dearc the birthday boy, is now 3️⃣! Since its discovery, it got a new neighbour (other Scottish pterosaur, Ceoptera) and has been recovered as one of the "missing links" in pterosaur evolution. Also, immortalised as toys!

A full color and hypothetical reconstruction of the head of recently found Dimartinia, based more or less in small sparassodonts as Cladisictis and Lycopsis for proportions. Interestingly, the mandible looks tiny compared to the teeth.
