It has arrived! Time for SCIENCE!!!
I just finished up "Pushing Ice" and give it 8.5/10. Was a great read! The first quarter was extremely compelling, followed by lots of character development/a bit of a lull. But the second half was incredible! Some awesome mind-blown moments in this one. Definitely worth a read if you like Sci-Fi.
I’ve always been into classic Sci Fi literature (Asimov, Clarke, Bradbury, etc), and just recently started diving into more modern books. About a third of the way through “Pushing Ice” by Alastair Reynolds, and it’s been a fantastic journey this far!

Just purchased something I’ve been wanting but telling myself “no” for over a decade. The FiniteSingularity electronic workbench is about to get upgraded with.. an oscilloscope! I’ve had many projects in the past where it’d be handy, and a couple coming up where it’ll be needed.

To give Apple some credit- their 1-week estimated wait on parts was off by 6-days. Parts came in this afternoon, and I had the repaired phone this evening.
Finite Jr’s iPhone eSIM just died, but we have AppleCare. Take it in to Apple Store, confirm that the eSIM chip died. Covered but 1-week wait for parts because “it is such and old phone.” Apple Store suggests other option is to buy a new phone. How old is the phone? 7-months.
