I try to have hope for humanity but the top ten most listened podcasts on spotify shakes me really bad.

I hope the main takeaway from #ConformityGate is how both convincing and dangerous echo chambers and social media can be today.

It won’t be but I can hope.

Not sure whats happened to reddit but I just hopped on for the first time in a few weeks and my feed is absolutely rotten with far right and alt right meme subreddits as ‘recommended for me’.

Literally just use reddit for video games info and tech support and barely comment on anything.

First week back after xmas break at my office job and I feel like I’m trapped in a David Lynch movie. I can see one other person at a desk and someone is either vomiting or just spitting loudly in the bathroom.

This was the very first dive I watched & honestly can you blame me for being hooked after that? The 1 & only time I've seen a living whale on a ROV dive & wow have I gotten to see some amazing stuff since then! Still waiting for whale # 2. From @nautiluslive.org #MarineLife

I must have seen Die Hard a million times in my 46 years, but every time he says ‘Hans… boobie…’ I always laugh.

My beautiful and perfect wife: the kettle went off five minutes ago, too cold for tea now, reheat it for my cup.

Also her for some reason: let the toast get cold so the butter doesn’t melt on it.

She contains multitudes.

Never noticed before but in the Two Towers when you see that orc chopping wood without his shirt on he’s got two big dangly nipple rings in.

Wow, the ineptitude.
Ok. Now had a chance to check and, well, at least some docs do appear to be straight up classic redaction fail. And there are some *interesting* bits here.

I’m pretty tech savvy and I’m noticing that enshittification has made purchasing for friends and family online this year an absolute unbearable crapfest.

Can’t find anything, can’t find where to buy things, and every gift idea article is slop generated junk.

Pretty damning that the Ultimates comic series (an alt universe Avengers team for non nerds) has a world where the bad guys won and are in charge and it basically looks and sounds exactly like the world we have now.
