Long ago, as an advertising student, I learned about tone of voice with the aid of the 'Your Sister Rose is Dead' joke, in which terrible news is delivered as a cheery singing telegram. Whoever did this ad went to a different art college to me.
It's not just the fact that they're evil. It's not just the way they are working very hard to make 'asylum seekers' and 'illegal migrants' into interchangeable synonyms for each other. It's the glee with which they communicate these things. They take uncontainable joy in the suffering of others.
