💡Excellent presentation from John Hopkins Medical Institutions researchers which found skeletal muscle loss, detected through brain MRIs, is linked with higher risk of #dementia.
📈The study estimates that adults with smaller skeletal muscles are about 60% more likely to develop dementia!

Researchers identified a new measure of wrist kinematics that is reliable & strongly correlates with clinical measures of motor capacity. The measure could allow continuous, objective, & convenient monitoring of motor recovery during rehabilitation after stroke.

Excellent study from @crubino.bsky.social showing gamified rehab can improve paretic arm motor behaviour in chronic stroke patients.
Similarily, our new therapy module MoveWell focuses on improving quality of movement of the paretic arm and is used from hospital to home.
