#Tuberculosis is more common in communal settings such as shelters, homeless encampments, and shared housing. It is not easy to catch, you need to have 72 hours of droplet exposure, but you will undergo daily *mandated* treatment for up to 9 months if positive. #CDNHealth #Edmonton #CanadaSky

Governments and Billionaires Retreat Ahead of COP30 Climate Talks
Worldwide, every other week seems to bring a new climate-related crisis. Increasingly, the response has seemed to be a dulled acceptance.

I couldn't read the article, but I think America and Canada have way too many oil and gas lobbyists and shorter term vision due in part to election cycles. China is ready to kick our collective butts and we're trying to medium term sell them fossil fuels to make a few bucks for oil and gas execs.

Good cop: Senate Republicans
Bad cop: House Republicans (Johnson)
Crazy cop: Russ Vought + Trump

Vought's plan was always to use impoundment/rescissions/starving people + firing feds to force Dems to surrender on the power of the purse.
