I had a blast playing Derry Jazz Fest for the first time this weekend with my faves Boom Strutt Brass Band 🎺
Three shows in one day and a last minute beer-fuelled overnight stay, my lips are fried but it was an amazing couple of days, it’s easily one of the best festivals I’ve played

It’s absolutely crazy to me that Yo La Tengo have been around through 5 (FIVE) different decades, obviously there’s plenty of other bands where that’s the case but for some reason it just won’t sink in for me with them
