astrology can be very hard to talk about with the majority of people (often including other astrologers!) because both its study and practice is deeply intertwined with epistemology, aka how we know what we know and to what extent we can know it. plus, metaphysics, history, and translation!

i actually have found ppl to be much meaner on bsky than the other app, ppl have written long paragraphs in response to some of my posts calling me insane names, with zero actual knowledge of what we do and what it entails. sad.
