The burbs are trying to reinstate parking minimums near Metra stations and busy Pace routes.

Don’t let them.

Submit an “opponent” witness slip below.
What's up with Rep. Hirschauer trying to modify the ban on parking minimums near TOD (People over Parking Act) to make it apply only to Chicago? If you want to slip against this (ilga.gov/House/Hearin...) ilga.gov/Legislation/...

Submit feedback via this map for Evanston’s 2026 Bike Plan Update. Drop pins where walking/biking feels unsafe and be specific in supporting corridors for protected lanes or greenways. Even if others have made your suggestions, add them anyway so your voice is heard!

“Olin Wilson-Thomas, a junior in high school, said he bikes to school everyday… and that he frequently sees cars parked illegally.

‘In the past couple of months biking to school I kept tally, 57 cars were parked in that bike lane… we need some concrete protection.’”

Illegal bike lane obstructions and the significant delays to complete streets projects jeopardize our public safety and climate goals. Evanstonians are sending a clear message: we need high quality, concrete protected bike infrastructure for our busiest roads, and it needs to be a priority!
