Gonna prepare a meal to cook in the slow cooker. I have some homemade sorrel sauce in freezer and peppers so will put these in with the pork I've defrosted. Will seal and brown meat now. I rarely eat pork but I bought it for the festive period so might as well cook it up

With it being the middle of winter, all this 'new year, new me' stuff feels unnatural for me. Winter means slowness, darkness and stillness but spring in a few months means more light, more warmth, more colour to motivate and energise the 'doing'.

It is really scary s***t that Nigeria was bombed and now the Venezuelan capture. UN definitely seems powerless and incapable at this point.

Staff at my local coffee shop know my name. Slow turnover of staff there too. Sometimes I go there with my cup for a hot beverage and chat. Whenever I've been isolating myself, sometimes a trip there to pick up a hot beverage can feel really nice. Not massive convos, just humans being kind

Stopped by J's yesterday and after making us cups of cbd tea, he walked me into his home studio. I had absolutely no idea he made music but he was shy about performing in front of me. He does it mainly for his own expression rather than share with the world. I really understand that.

Finishing up Es garland. My last night here and I'm all packed and ready to go. House is clean. No rush. Cat has been fed and medicated. I'm gonna eat, finish the garland then get myself home.

Gonna go for a walk to get some coffee. I also need to get back to Es house and wrap things up here like strip and wash my bedding and run the hoover etc.
Still in bed and it's early afternoon already

My art out there in the wild. I love this feeling gifting loved ones something I've made. Have more ideas for gifts in 2026. Its been suggested many times to sell my art. Just wonder if that will make me not like it anymore. Not everything has to be a business hustle, sometimes it's just nice to do.

Slightly paying for going out last night. I think it was the conversations with strangers. I wasn't expecting to meet and talk to the couple new to Bristol sitting on the next table. Meeting new ppl can be heavy on the already depleted energy reserves

Grocery shopping on the buses/trains is so exhausting & always a second workout. One of the conveniences I miss from having a car. 🥹

Gave up on watching Forest Gump. The way he talks and what happens in the film makes me feel like it's a constant dig on people who inhabit the Southern States.

Found ET instead. I've been invited out tonight and I'm contemplating going 🤔

Watercolour painting I did of the festive period in 2019. Coming across this in 2025 made me remember I love the Balsamic and Caramelised Onion crisps from Sensations. Picked up some on sale today. The pandemic made me forget I liked em

Back at E's now. Fed the cat and refreshed the litter box. He's out having a roam now as he's been inside since I left on Wednesday. Sitting under the skylight and my blanket where I'll work on E's garland and stream something. Tired today.
